As requested - Pictures

Renae took the first two pictures. She's starting to understand the concept of the camera. (I didn't post the 30 or so other pictures that she took.) In the second picture, Naomi is sitting up "helping" Mommy crochet.

Pictures 4 and 5 show Renae's favorite thing to do lately "night-night baby."

Pictures 6 and 7: Naomi with the blanket Mommy made for her. The plan was to finish it before she arrived, but she came earlier than we expected so it was done a few days after she was born.

Pictures 8 and 9: Naomi with Karina, her oldest cousin, who LOVES babies and she is so good with them.

A hero is born!

Hey Family and Friends,

Yesterday, Tuesday July 19th, 2011, a new member of our family joined us. Naomi Joan Hayes was born at 5:12 pm. As it happens, her Great Grandmother, who was named Joan Hilton, was also born on July 19th (we were already planning on naming her Naomi Joan if it was a girl but this makes her birthday super special).

Both Shonda and Naomi are doing great. It looks like we should be getting out of the hospital tomorrow afternoon. We wanted to post some pictures before too long and let you all "oooh and aaah" like we have. We love you all and are thankful for your prayers that have been sent on our behalf.
